Monochrome
When I paint in black and white, I find it timeless, elegant, and very appealing.
Some of my artworks comprise of textures and complex layers. If I’m emotional, I will crush and manipulate its form beneath my hands.
I have cut my fingers using wires and nails and, as I press them into the canvas, it feels very intimate.
Increasing light and serenity within my paintings can be an intense, striking statement. I like my emotions to lead, as the outcome can be very powerful.
