Lorraine's Story
In 2007, Lorraine and her family moved from the west country in England to Noosa, Australia.
She fell into a world of self discovery while living and caring for her son with severe autism.
There have been challenging moments in her life, but it's through this sheer determination that she found her voice.
With no formal training, Lorraine has been painting since 2012. She is influenced by the Abstract Expressionists - with their classic dominance always in focus.
There is a vulnerability about Lorraine's artwork. She says "all of my emotions are pressed into the canvas".
I want my paintings to provide a unique experience by adding texture and vibrance to any space.
